One of the main problems with Church hurt is when we take our eyes off Jesus and place them on people. We must maintain a proper perspective of people and God. God is never out to hurt us – He only intends to do things for His glory and our good! The Scriptures we read today are about how we have all fallen short of the glory of God, and when someone wrongs us, we are to display forgiveness. A well-known quote that speaks to this is “Hurt people hurt people.” Tomorrow, we are going to look at what our response should be to people who have wronged us.
