One question posed by many believers is, Can I lose my salvation? This is an important question because it impacts where you will spend eternity. Think about the best Christmas present you ever received. Did you earn that gift? No, it was freely given to you; all you had to do was accept it. Now, can you lose a gift you did not earn? No, because if you could, then it wouldn’t be a gift. It is the same way with our salvation. We did nothing to earn it; Jesus did everything, so we can’t lose it. Also, if Jesus says that no one can take us away from God – and He is the One who gives us the gift of eternal life – then there is nothing we can do to lose our salvation!
