Week 50 Devo – TUESDAY

Have you ever wanted something so badly such as a birthday or Christmas gift? You ask for it all year, even dropping hints to others about it. When you get the exact thing you wanted you find out it was only fun for a little bit, or it ended up being extremely disappointing. What’s interesting is that there was such immense happiness in the anticipation of getting it and at the immediate time of receiving it! But later, the happiness faded. This is the thing with happiness: It is bliss but only for a small time.

What is something you’ve really wanted before and anticipated it?

How can we remember where true happiness lies?
