When we accept Christ, we are to “walk in Him” afterward. This means we are supposed to have a daily relationship with Him by reading His Word and praying to Him. Paul says that we are supposed to be rooted in Christ. This is the fifth value we want you to be known for … being rooted in Christ. Our prayer is that you know what your believe, why you believe it, how it impacts your life, and that you are able to articulate those beliefs to others.

• Would you consider yourself to be rooted in Christ? Why or why not?

In order to be rooted, you must be willing to invest time, energy and effort into your walk with Christ. If you are hungry for the Word of God, passionate about your salvation, you will naturally find yourself being rooted in Christ.
