Week 22 Devo – FRIDAY
Paul challenges his readers to pray for an open door for sharing the Gospel, and all the while, he is sitting in prison draped with chains. He is asking the saints to pray fervently that there would be opportunity and clarity for the Gospel.
This text really takes life as a student to the next level. It is no longer enough to just know about Jesus and your salvation. This text introduces necessary action. We are to be praying for open doors to share the Gospel. We are to be walking wisely, intentionally and graciously with those who don’t know about Jesus or reject Him all together. In that walking, we are to be praying for an opportunity to talk about the Gospel and what Jesus did on the Cross for our sins. How often do you seek or pray for these opportunities?
What would an open door to the Gospel look like in your school?
