Sometimes the moments when we need to speak up come when we least expect them. In today’s passage, Philip was simply walking down the road when he randomly heard a eunuch reading the Old Testament. Instead of just thinking, “Oh, that’s cool”, Philip engaged with the man. He spoke up and asked if he could help. The result of Philip’s boldness was salvation for the man.

How can you speak out today as you go to school, work, practice, etc.?

God wants to use your boldness to bring others into a relationship with Him. Don’t just blaze past the “normal” things you do in life. Put on your ears, listen to your heart, and engage people in conversation. Don’t be afraid to speak out in order to talk about Jesus.
