Week 15 Devo – MONDAY

Good Friday

On Sunday, Jesus went into Jerusalem one last time before He was to be crucified. Jesus, knowing what was to come, triumphantly rode into town on a donkey. When He did this, Jesus fulfilled the prophecies written about Him, proving the Bible to be accurate and that He was truly the Messiah. As Jesus rode into town, the crowd laid down their clothes and branches from trees on the road. The crowds praised Him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord – the King of Israel!” Jesus shouted to the crowds that He was sent by God to be a light to the world. He came to save the world and offer eternal life. We are so undeserving of a perfect King to sacrifice His life for us, but we are forever grateful! Thank Jesus today for coming to save you and offer you eternal life!
