Week 15 Devo – WEDNESDAY
After Jesus’ final dinner with His disciples, He took a moment to go before the Lord in prayer because He knew he would be crucified the next day. Jesus was deeply stressed and even begged God to take this responsibility away from Him. However, Jesus ends His prayer with “not my will, but yours, be done.” Jesus understands the anxieties and stress that we may face every day. He even understands what it’s like to want God to change the trajectory or path of your life. Yet, Jesus understood that God’s will and plans are far better than our desires for our life. We might be scared at what the future holds for us, but if we are walking with God and following His ways, we have no reason to fear. God’s plans for our life are perfect; lean into Him and trust His plans.
