On the morning of Jesus’ Resurrection, the women who had come with Jesus from Galilee visited the tomb early in the morning. They immediately saw that the boulder sealing the tomb was rolled away, revealing an empty grave. The women saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting by the tomb. He asked them, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead?” Often, we, too, can be looking for life in things that will ultimately lead to emotional and spiritual death. Jesus is the only source of true joy, peace and life. We must go to Him alone with our thoughts, desires and needs if we want to experience true, everlasting love and life in fullness.
