When was the last time you made a promise? Were you true to your word? In Exodus 6, God reminds the Israelites that He has promised them a land of their own. He promises that even though His covenant is yet to be fulfilled, it is not forgotten. Waiting on the Lord can be exhausting; in fact, in Exodus 2:9, the Israelites failed to trust these words from the Lord because of the pain from their hard labor.
