When was the last time you prayed for God’s will instead of yours? Jesus is teaching us how to pray through this Scripture. This is a tough pill to swallow when we are praying about something that we really want to happen. Jesus not only tells us how to pray, but prays something very similar to this just before He is arrested to then die on the Cross for our sins (Luke 22:42). Our will is subpar compared to what God has already planned for us.
