Believers are people who strive to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus (3:17). This includes what we do as well as what we say. Of course, the things we do and say in private should honor our Lord. But the vast majority of life is lived out among people, so how we live publicly and treat others must also honor the Lord.

Interactions within a family can be some of the toughest relationships we have, because we feel most comfortable to be ourselves within our families. However, sometimes what comes out isn’t so pretty—we should always bring glory to Jesus. Recognizing Christ’s authority over all as our Creator and Savior, we must live for Him in every relationship and circumstance.
