Week 48 Devo – WEDNESDAY
The writer of Hebrews warns readers to make sure they give evidence of a genuine conversion in Christ. Religious ritual is not enough; believers’ lives should give clear evidence of a walk with God.
We are not saved by our works or own efforts; rather, Jesus died as the perfect sacrifice to offer eternal salvation to all who trust in Him. But saving faith is not passive and lazy (6:11–12). We should imitate the diligence and perseverance of believers who came before us (6:12), so that we, too, may give evidence of the genuineness of our faith.
Are you moving forward in your walk with God or drifting backward?
