Adoption is such a beautiful picture of the Gospel, but admiring the Gospel through the lens of the Foster-to-Adopt system shines a new light. When a family decides to foster a child, they will care for that child’s needs with love. However, it isn’t until the foster parents legally adopt that child that the child becomes an heir to the parents’ possessions. The same is true of our heavenly Father. He still loves and provides for those who do not trust in Him, but it is the blood of Christ that secures the inheritance of the kingdom of heaven.

Let us never get over the joy of our future inheritance and do all we can to share with the world the Gospel message of adoption into a heavenly family!
