We’ll end the week where we started it – 1 John. Over the past four days, we’ve studied how God has overcome many different things. 1 John 5:4 assures us that “everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.” The power of sin and death no longer has a hold on us. Everything that Jesus has conquered has been conquered on our behalf. And the verse continues: “And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.” It’s our faith in the death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins that empowers us daily. Meditate on 1 John 5:4 today and know that Jesus died on your behalf!
