Week 17 Devo – MONDAY
For the last three Times with Jesus, focus only on prayer. Don’t go through the motions. Truly surrender, empty out, and receive what God wants to give you. Be silent before Him, and allow Him to speak to you.
Remember, revival always begins with prayer. May it be that the time you have spent in this study and in prayer will spark a revival in you that turns into an inferno that helps spark a revival in your generation.
PRAYER MOVEMENTS
Hands Up
A sign of surrender.
“God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: strength belongs to God.” Psalm 62:11
Spend time reflecting on how strong the Lord is. Tell Him how you need Him and His strength to be with you while you’re in your daily mission field. Surrender to His calling to go with urgency.
Hands Open
A sign of emptying out.
“And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Are you avoiding the church? Are you gathering with fellow believers? Empty out by confessing anything that is getting in the way of church being a priority to you.
Hands Out
A sign of receiving.
“Until now you have asked for nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” John 16:24
How often are you going through your day without going to God in prayer? Receive this promise from God that He wants you to come to Him. Pray before you go in urgency.
