Empowered is our third value. We have been empowered by God to do His will every moment of every day. In Acts 1:8, Jesus ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to live inside of us. When this happened, God empowered us to be His witnesses across the whole earth. Get this … we have been empowered by a holy God to be His witnesses, but we still don’t live like it. Why not? We let fear, doubt, worry and other things quash the power that we have. God addressed this early in the Old Testament when today’s passage was written. We are to be strong and courageous in the face of all the fear, doubt, worry, etc. Even more encouraging is to know that He won’t leave us or forsake us. The fact is, we are empowered. We pray you are known as empowered – living without fear or doubt about what you believe.
