What words come to mind when you think of an elephant? What about a porcupine? How about a shark? Each of these creatures has distinct features that reveal what it truly is. And so it is with those who are not true Christians. They are discontent, grumblers, prideful, and flatter others to get their way (v. 16).

What words come to mind when you try to describe a Christian? Hopefully, the Fruit of the Spirit. That’s the life we should live – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. What describes you? The list in Jude or the list that looks like Jesus?
