Jesus was not a man who was used by God. Jesus is God. The gnostics (a false religion of that day) taught that there was divine power in the universe, but it was spread out in small doses among separate entities or spirits. In response to this heresy, Paul clearly states in chapters 1 and 2 of Colossians that in Christ is the “whole fullness of deity.” In other words, all divine power is in Him.

Colossians 2:6 says, “You received Christ so ______.” Receiving Christ is not the end of your salvation.

What does it mean to walk with God?

Many religions follow a man, such as Buddhism, which follows the writings and teachings of Buddha. However, we follow the one true God. God loves us so much that He sent His Son to become a man, but not just any man. Jesus was fully God and fully man before returning to God the Father in heaven and being only and fully God once again.

Why did Jesus come to earth? Why did He die?
