Jesus willingly died on the Cross, providing salvation so that we would not have to face God’s wrath. However, you and I still must accept that salvation: We have to accept Jesus as our Lord. If we refuse to accept Christ as Lord, we cannot receive forgiveness for our sins, and we will have to face God’s wrath for eternity. We must confess that Jesus is our only salvation, and that He is Lord.

God is not going to make us do this, but if we decide to follow Jesus Christ as our Lord, our sins will immediately be forgiven, and we will begin a relationship with the Lord who loves us.
