This week, we will examine the Mormon Religion or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). The Mormon church goes against God’s Word in many of its doctrines. This week, we will look at three specifically: the Trinity, the Bible and the Gospel. Paul encouraged the Church of Galatia to remember the truths he labored to bring them, and anything apart from those teachings was false. When we look at the foundation of Mormonism, we see three writings: the Doctrines and Covenants, the Book of Mormon, and the Pearl of Great Price. Each of these falls into the warning in Galatians 1:8. With this in mind, we must do three things: guard ourselves with the truth of Scripture, be equipped with truth and love to defend our faith and share the Gospel with others, and pray for those who are in error by following this religion.
