Week 19 Devo – TUESDAY

Mormonism

The Trinity is one of the essential doctrines with which we find ourselves in direct opposition to the Mormon religion. The Mormon church teaches that the Godhead is united in purpose but fails to acknowledge that the three distinct persons in the Trinity are one being. The Bible teaches this about the Trinity: There is only one God; God is three distinct persons, yet each person is fully and truly God. It is essential to remember these things because God the Father loves us, God the Son died for us, and God the Holy Spirit seals us.

How are the Christian and Mormon views of the Trinity different?

Why is it important to believe in the Trinity as presented in the Bible?
