As Christians, we believe that one God exists in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While this might be hard to wrap our minds around entirely, John 18 provides a snapshot for us. Jesus had to come so we could be given a physical representation of God! Jesus ministered and spoke truth to others with the end goal of reuniting us with God the Father. Therefore, we can read the Bible and have full assurance that Jesus’ words are valid for our lives. Rather than picking and choosing what we think is right versus wrong, we can read the Bible with confidence that His words are the truth!
