On Friday, Jesus faced the searing wrath of God that was fully poured out on Jesus so that we could experience the gift of salvation freely. The torture and punishment Jesus endured for us cleanses us of our sins and makes us pure. Therefore, we can experience the blessing of a friendship and relationship with God for eternity. We are loved so deeply that all God longs for is to simply spend time with us. Jesus endured an excruciatingly painful death, just so that He could have a relationship with you and be with you in heaven.
