Who is the true G.O.A.T.? Jordan or LeBron? Chick-fil-A^® or Raising Canes^®? Debates of “the greatest of all time” will rage on and on, but why? We can’t help talking about successful athletes or businesses because what they have done and accomplished inspires awe in everyone who could not dream of accomplishing the same. This admiration is built in to who we are because God has created us to worship Him, and we do so because of what He has accomplished.

We worship God for two reasons – what He has made and what He has done. Only God can stretch out the heavens with His words, breathe life into dirt to create humanity, and forgive sin to make holy what is broken. This is why we worship. We give God praise and honor because He deserves all of it.
