Prayer is such a powerful tool. We can approach the throne of God unhindered. Often, we do not appreciate the gift that prayer is. Though God is the infinite and holy King of the universe, He is also our heavenly Father.

James gives directions to believers facing any circumstances. He says that no matter what is going on in a person’s life, he or she should always run to the Lord. When suffering, believers can cry out to their heavenly Father, who always listens and cares about His children. Likewise, in good times, we should respond with praise to God, the giver of all good things, both to thank Him and acknowledge His hand in our lives.
