As believers we can struggle with the idea of condemnation, and we carry a mindset that we must repay God for what we have done wrong when Jesus has already paid the highest price. Within the book of Romans, Paul explains this exact struggle. He tries to show the power of God’s unconditional love. It can be hard for us to fathom the idea of unconditional love because we live in a world where there is payment for everything we give or receive. With His unconditional love, He has graciously forgiven us. That forgiveness is there, whether we feel it or not. And it isn’t for purchase but is free for all who believe and accept it.
