Think of a time when you felt at peace, maybe on a beach, with the waves crashing on the shore and no agenda in mind for the rest of the day.

In today’s Scripture, we see that Adam and Eve were at a moment before the Fall. The Fall is when they were tempted by the serpent and sinned, separating humanity from the perfection they had experienced in the garden. They experienced true peace – where there is no sin, no shame, and no sickness. This is how God intended for us to live with Him; this is ultimate peace.
