It is heartbreaking to think that for some people, earth is the closest thing to heaven they will experience. To those who reject Jesus as Savior, life on earth is the best thing that they will experience. For those who apply this Scripture to their life – remembering that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that the only way to get to the Father is through Him – life on earth is just a foretaste of what God has for us after death.
