The Holy Spirit not only guides and convicts us, but just as Jesus was appointed for a specific mission, the Holy Spirit appoints believers to ministry. Paul tells us that he is in a ministry that the Holy Spirit has guided him to. Have you ever looked up to a celebrity or sports figure whom you followed with interest? Imagine one day you look up and the person is standing right in front of you! That would be such a coincidence, you’d think it was crazy. With God, there’s no such thing as an accident. The Holy Spirit appoints us for specific times for specific reasons. Follow the guidance of the Spirit and be ready to be used by God to help further the Gospel!
