Paul urges his readers to grow in their faith and become like Christ. In verse 13, Paul says that unity in our faith and further knowledge of God will create a maturity that measures the fullness of Christ. Anything that is not from God represents Satan’s schemes that attempt to turn people away from the Lord. To mature, we learn about Christ and become more like Him, and we can do this by getting to know Him through His Word! A true Christian will have spiritual fruit on display in his or her life!
